Your New Role
Our client are a fast growing electronics organisation based in Newbury, who are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our Purchasing team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early purchasing experience or a strong administrative background who can quickly adapt and contribute in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will support day-to-day purchasing activities and supplier coordination, raise and manage POs. This role does cover a wide space within their procurement function where you will also communicate with suppliers, whilst maintaining accurate records and assist with stock management duties.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally you will have previous experience supporting a purchasing or procurement environment, alternatively a more extensive background within a fast-paced office environment. Excellent attention to detail and being highly organised is an absolute essential, with the ability to work at space and prioritise tasks effectively. A real self-starter, with an appetite to learn is also essential. Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal are also a must.
