Landscape Operative – Contractor

Location: Newbury

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Operative to join our team on-site contract basis. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality landscaping projects across a variety of sites, supporting the Landscape Supervisor in day-to-day operations.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with ground preparation, planting shrubs and trees, laying turf, seeding, and creating wildflower areas
• Support fencing and general hard landscaping tasks
• Read and work from site plans
• Follow project requirements, PPE guidelines, and client-led health & safety standards
• Report near misses, accidents, and incidents promptly
• Follow company H&S policies, risk assessments, and COSHH guidelines
• Undertake additional duties as needed to support projects and business goals
