Your New Role

As an Outsourcing Associate or Assistant Manager, you will support the delivery of cloud accounting, management reporting, and outsourced finance services to a portfolio of clients. You will work as part of a team to help businesses understand their financial performance and support their decision-making.

You will help prepare and review management reports, analyse key performance information, and explain financial results to clients in a clear and practical way. Depending on experience, you may also support or review the work of junior team members. You will work with cloud accounting systems such as Xero and other finance tools to help design, set up, and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting systems for clients. You may also be involved in short-term projects and system implementation work.

Ensuring Your Success

To be successful in this role, you will be nearly or newly qualified in accountancy (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and have experience working in a similar role, ideally within a practice or client-focused environment. You should be comfortable using cloud accounting software and be interested in using technology and automation to improve finance processes. Experience working with systems such as Xero, Dext, or similar tools would be beneficial. Strong communication skills are important as the role involves speaking with clients and explaining financial information clearly. You should be proactive, organised, and able to manage your own workload while meeting deadlines. You will also bring good problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
