Job Title: Fines Co-ordinator

Location: Swindon (Hybrid)

Contract Type: 3 Month contract with view to extend

Salary: £12.50 P/H

 

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate the efficient processing of motoring fines and penalty charge notices (PCNs) received for vehicles leased or financed by the company. The role ensures accurate allocation, timely payment or contesting of fines, and effective communication with clients and authorities, helping to maintain compliance and protect the company’s reputation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process all motoring fines and PCNs issued to leased or financed vehicles, including parking, speeding, congestion charges, and toll violations.
  • Identify and allocate fines to the appropriate customer or driver based on vehicle lease records.
  • Notify customers of fines in a timely and professional manner and provide necessary documentation and guidance for payment or dispute.
  • Liaise with external issuing authorities (e.g., local councils, Transport for London, DVLA) to transfer liability or appeal fines where appropriate.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all fines received, processed, paid, disputed, or transferred.
  • Ensure that fines are handled within statutory deadlines to avoid escalation, legal action, or additional charges.
  • Prepare regular reports and summaries for internal departments, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Finance, and Fleet teams to streamline processes and resolve queries or disputes.
  • Support policy development and process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with changes in relevant traffic laws, regulations, and enforcement practices.
