Your New Role
Providing high quality legal advice and support to colleagues in housing matters including assignment and succession, possession claims, tenancy breaches, non-occupation/subletting, anti-social behaviour, service charge matters/disputes and on all aspects of property disrepair cases, dealing with associated applications, claims and settlements to successful conclusion. Providing sole oversight and in-house management of these matters. Ability to provide broader support the teams development and asset management teams in terms of plot sales, home ownership and building safety would be an advantage.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally you will posses an extensive background in a similar role, as a solicitor, ideally coming from a housing background. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively. You will have a law degree or comparable with up-to-date knowledge of housing law. Experience in managing claim settlement, and managing wider housing legal matter is also key. Being a natural problem solver, who can work collaboratively and bring flexibility in a fast-paced environment is also essential.
