Your responsibilities will include preparing appointment documentation, assisting with financial reports, preparing documents for Companies House, creditors and members, carrying out relevant research and maintaining accurate company records. You will also assist with ongoing trading during administration assignments, including dealing with suppliers, customer enquiries and staff matters, as well as supporting the preparation of progress and final reports.

You will also be involved in a variety of financial and administrative activities, including assisting with the investigation of directors, employee claims for outstanding wages and redundancy payments, asset sales, collection of book debts and creditor queries. You will be a confident and effective communicator who is comfortable speaking to people over the telephone and dealing with a variety of stakeholders. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also using your own initiative, will be essential. You will become part of a successful and supportive team where your work can make a genuine difference to a wide range of stakeholders, including directors, shareholders, employees and creditors. Occasional overtime may be required due to the nature and urgency of insolvency work; where overtime is agreed, this will be paid.
