IT Systems Specialist

Bracknell | On-site | Up to £55,000 | 35 hours/week

A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced IT Systems Specialist to support and manage core IT infrastructure across the EMEAI region. Based full-time on-site in Bracknell, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on technical work, regional responsibility, and the opportunity to own and deliver infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support data centre infrastructure, including hardware lifecycle, server upgrades, and performance monitoring
• Take full ownership of Veeam backup systems - including monitoring, restore testing, and optimisation
• Provide advanced support for Exchange Online and on-premise mail services
• Collaborate with local and global IT teams on infrastructure support and service improvements

Play a key role in upcoming projects such as:

• Server upgrades
• Transition of internal websites to HTTPS
• Implementation of a new email archiving solution

What We’re Looking For

• Hands on experience with server and infrastructure management
• Strong working knowledge of Veeam for backup and disaster recovery
• Confident supporting Exchange Online and mail flow troubleshooting
• Able to prioritise and deliver tasks in a structured, time-sensitive environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation platforms
• Experience working with Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and certificates
• Exposure to SSL/HTTPS, Microsoft CA, or email archiving solutions
• Application support experience for SQL, RDS & Citrix Environments
