Your New Role
We are partnering with one of our fantastic public sector clients to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy Employee Relations function during a period of organisational change. You will act as a trusted point of contact for managers, providing expert ER guidance across a range of matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management and informal conflict resolution. You will also support ongoing change programmes, ensuring all ER activity is handled fairly, consistently, and in line with policy, legislation and organisational values.
Ensuring Your Success
You will be a confident and knowledgeable HR professional with demonstrable experience managing a high volume of ER cases within complex and/or unionised environments. A strong understanding of UK employment law, ACAS guidance and ER best practice is essential, combined with the ability to coach managers, influence decision-making and navigate sensitive people issues with discretion. Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to work at pace are key to thriving in this role.
