Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant

Location: Farnham (Hybrid)

Salary: Negotiable DoE

Duration: Permanent


Your New Role

You will join the firm as a Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistant. In this role, you will support fee earners with the day-to-day administration of residential conveyancing matters, helping transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion and post-completion. You will act as a key point of contact for clients and third parties, assisting with file management, document preparation, and compliance tasks. You will ensure high standards of accuracy, organisation, and client care while working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


To Ensure Your Success

You will have previous experience in a legal, professional services, or administrative role, with strong organisational and communication skills. You will be confident managing multiple tasks, handling client enquiries professionally, and maintaining accurate records across case management systems. Experience or exposure to residential conveyancing, diary management, document production, and compliance procedures (including AML and ID checks) will support your success in this role. You will be comfortable using modern IT systems, including Microsoft Office, audio and copy typing, and legal case management software. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
