Your New Role

We are partnering with a forward-thinking organisation that takes data privacy seriously and is looking for a Data Privacy Advisor to support their Senior Data Privacy Manager. In this role, you will help embed strong data protection practices across the organisation, maintain accurate records, support key assessments such as DPIAs and LIAs, and provide practical guidance on routine data privacy matters. You will also help monitor compliance, support investigations of incidents, and contribute to training and awareness initiatives to promote good data handling across all departments.

Ensuring Your Success

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in data protection, privacy, compliance, or a related function, ideally supporting GDPR or other data protection frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills to respond clearly to queries from staff, students, and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying and managing risks, escalating where necessary, and supporting improvements to processes and documentation.
• Confidence using CRM or compliance systems, and the ability to learn and apply new tools quickly.
• A collaborative mindset to work across departments including Legal, HR, IT, and senior management.
• The ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and maintain a solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
