Your New Role

We are currently partnering with a local organisation who work closely with students in enhancing their experience during their time studying. To initially cover a maternity leave, our client looking for an experienced BDM to lead the commercial and income generation strategy for the organisation, taking a lead on media sales, sponsorship, advertising, entertainment and events. You will be responsible in ensuring the commercial opportunities are in line with the strategy, deliverable and aligned with the culture and values of the organisation. You will manage all sales performance, targets, pipelines and reporting, whilst closely collaborating with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Ensuring Your Success

A proven background in business development, ideally within events or hospitality would be ideal, with a track record of achieving and exceeding income targets. You will have previously owned and delivery on a sales strategy and have a natural ability to build relationships quickly. Exposure to sponsorship, media sales and advertising is highly advantageous. Personality wise, you will be an ambitious self starter who is looking to make an impact on a truly mission driven organisation.
