Business Development Manager – Middle East & Asia

£60,000 per annum + Benefits

Oxford (Hybrid)

Permanent

Your New Role

Join an innovative technology business at the forefront of a niche technology, delivering advanced solutions across security, intelligent transport, marine and industrial applications. As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company's international presence, focusing on its market-leading surveillance solution for airports and security partners across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a technical background to identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and win major international projects. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and will involve international travel across your region.

Ensuring Your Success

You will develop and execute regional growth strategies, identify new business opportunities and manage a sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract award. Building strong relationships with consultants, system integrators, channel partners and end customers will be central to your success. You will also recruit and support channel partners, deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations, negotiate commercial agreements and represent the business at industry events and exhibitions. Working closely with internal teams, you will share market and customer insights to support product development and ensure successful project delivery. We're looking for someone with a technical background in engineering, software or a similar discipline, proven B2B technical sales experience and a track record of developing international project sales opportunities with longer sales cycles. Experience within the security or surveillance industry would be advantageous.

In Return

A competitive salary of £60,000 is on offer, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include 25 days' annual leave, the option of a nine-day fortnight with every other Friday off, a holiday buy-and-sell scheme, generous employer pension contributions, a company share scheme and an electric vehicle scheme. You'll also have access to enhanced parental leave, a Cycle to Work scheme, GP consultations, gym discounts, an employee assistance programme and a wellbeing app with rewards. You'll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking technology business where you can make a tangible impact on international growth while developing your career in a specialist and evolving market.
