I am delighted to be working with an existing client that is looking for a key hire to join their engineering team as the Head of Infrastructure. My client is an AI Series backed Start-Up that has scaled their engineering team whilst maintaining a fantastic work environment and culture, whilst providing a supportive and clear career progression platform. This is a hybrid role in London, 1-2 days a week, alongside the existing Engineering Team. You can expect a salary in the region of 100-120k plus an amazing package including annual salary reviews, learning & development budget, health/medical and more.

 As the Head of Infrastructure in this role, you will manage the company's existing infrastructure and help scale the production systems, while taking ownership and a strategic approach to manage other key areas such as: Cloud Architecture, Reliability & Observability, Security & Risk, DevOps Standards, Cost & Efficiency, Dev Experience as well as Management & Leadership. 

As the Head of Infrastructure, I am looking for: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
• 10+ years of industry experience across cloud and production software applications
• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering
• Deep hands-on experience in AWS cloud platforms (AWS Solution Architect Certifications beneficial) 
• Experience in managing/leading cloud production systems and scaling infrastructure 
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience leading engineering teams with direct report management 
• Worked with other engineering teams and worked to meet requirements and deadlines
• Strong understanding of the Full SDLC 
• Understanding of Python Web Frameworks beneficial (Django/FastAPI)
